Privacy Policy

Contraction Timer & Counter for iOS and Apple Watch · Effective 11 October 2026

Contraction Timer is developed by OkbSoft ("we"). This policy explains what the app does with information, in plain language. The short version: your contractions, kick counts and notes stay on your device; we do not have accounts and we do not sell data.

1. Data you enter stays on your device

Contraction times, intensity, notes, labor events (for example "water broke"), kick-count sessions, your due date, which baby this is, and your hospital-bag checklist are stored only in the app's private storage on your iPhone and, while the companion app is in use, on your Apple Watch. They are included in your encrypted device backups if you have them enabled. We cannot see this data. It leaves the device only when you deliberately share a PDF, CSV or text summary using the iOS share sheet.

2. Information collected automatically

To keep the app working and improve it we use the following services. None of them receives your contraction data.

3. Purchases

Payments are processed by Apple. We never see your payment details. Adapty validates the receipt with Apple to unlock Pro features and to let you restore purchases.

4. Tracking and advertising

The app contains no ads. On first launch iOS asks whether the app may track you. If you allow it, the advertising identifier is shared with Adapty for subscription attribution only. If you decline, nothing changes in the app and the identifier is not read.

5. Health data

Contraction and fetal-movement timings are health-related. They are processed only on your device and are not transmitted to us or to third parties. The app does not read or write Apple Health.

6. Children

The app is intended for adults and is rated 12+ because it contains medical and treatment information. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

7. Your rights

You can delete all data from the app in Settings → "Delete all contractions", or by deleting the app. To have analytics or push data linked to your installation identifier erased, email us the identifier shown in Settings → About, or simply uninstall the app: the identifier is reset. Depending on where you live (for example GDPR in the EU, CCPA in California) you may have additional rights of access, correction and deletion; contact us and we will respond within 30 days.

8. Retention and security

Analytics and crash data are kept for up to 14 months by Firebase. Push tokens are deleted when they become invalid or when you turn off notifications. Data is transmitted over HTTPS.

9. Changes and contact

If this policy changes we will update the date above and, for material changes, show a notice in the app. Questions: ikbalyasar@gmail.com.
